Endings and New Beginnings
I LOVE this time of year! It holds the energy of gratitude for all that has been given in 2008 and the promise of hope and excitement for what is to come! It’s a time of year my soul fills full and my creativity is bursting to express itself!

In looking through the “rearview” mirror at 2008, I am grateful for many things! It’s been a year of deep connection with core friends and my husband. We added “Kiska” to our family, a fun loving gentle sheltie! I learned how to ballroom dance with my husband (without stepping on his feet and following his lead!). I shared a day with my dad having a picnic lunch in a redwood forest and a strenuous mountain hike with my 75 year old mom! It was a year I turned the BIG “50″! My heart is truly full!

I am grateful for all of you who have chosen me to be your money coach! I love witnessing your growth and challenging you to embrace more expansive mindsets! Your referrals are the highest compliment I can receive! I thank you from my heart!

I am also excited in moving forward! I have great hopes and aspirations for 2009! My vision is to create processes and product to reach the masses, so that all who desire can reach their financial potential! I ask you to hold this vision with me!

I’ve been sitting in coffee shops with my laptop for weeks, creating goals for 2009. There is something magical that happens when you put goals down in writing. For me, it’s a way I declare to the Universe what I want. I also do the necessary footwork to reach my goals. The most fun part for me, is staying open to the mystery of synchronicity and witnessing how my goals unfold!

Here’s a Process you can use to begin creating your goals for 2009!

1. Give Gratitude for 2008.

Think back on the gifts and blessings of this past year. What dreams materialized? What are you grateful for in the way of relationships…your life’s work…your health…finances…moments that brought you joy? Write down your gratitudes!

2. Acknowledge Where You Are Today.

Make peace with your life today, even if there are things in your life you don’t like and want to change…like your finances. Your financial numbers tell as story about the thoughts, feelings and actions you bring to your money life. If you don’t like the story, you can change it. You can bring new mindsets, heal emotions and take action to create the financial picture you desire.

3.  Put in Writing Your 2009 Goals.

What do you want for yourself? A savings account…to get out of debt…a plump retirement account…peace and control with your money life?  What do you want the year ahead to hold for you? What changes are you willing to make? What footwork are you willing to do on your behalf? Write it down on paper and create a declaration! Breathe some light and life into your goals.

4. Take Action on Your Goals.

Given where you are and where you want to go, what little things can you begin to do to close the gap?  What will make movement towards your goals that you can begin today?  Write down your next steps and put accountability dates to them.  Put them into your calendar and schedule.  Find a support buddy, mastermind group or private coach to support and guide you.

I wish for you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2009 filled with Blessings!
